Quite right. Those that hate him will hate him more. Those that love him will love him more. Both bases get energized, but our base is broader. Really a pointless exercise.

Or rather, “we just want to control you.”

After the State of the Union, Trump surged 35 points with independence. He hurt himself with not fighting the budget but he is hanging strong.

Unless the Constitution gets amended next week, it won’t matter how much they love whichever smurf gets nominated, in LA, Chicago or New York. Electoral votes trump popular vote, and Dubya in 2004 and Barry are the only two POTUSes who won the popular since 1988.

A private sale would be illegal. The seller and the buyer must work with an FFL who will do the Form 4473 and background checks on the firearm, seller and purchaser. You'll have to pay a fee for the service and that firearm is now registered with the government and they have a name/address for the new owner.

[[The universal background checks measure, authored by Reps. Mike Thompson (D-Calif.) and Pete King (R-N.Y.), is titled the Bipartisan Background Checks Act.]]

Good old RINO Pete.

[[McBath became a gun control activist with Everytown for Gun Safety and Moms Demand Action after her 17-year-old son was shot and killed following a dispute over loud music.]]

So therefore it is the fault of every legal gun owner.

“The universal background checks measure would require background checks to cover sales made at gun shows and over the internet. Current law only mandates federally licensed firearms dealers to conduct background checks before making a gun sale”

The stupidity is astounding. All internet sales go through FFL’s in the buyer’s home state already. The firearm is DELIVERED to the FFL who then conducts a background check at the time of pickup.

I don’t see anything remotely sporting about having a rifle that can shoot 30 rounds. Being a deer is hard enough without that kind of fire power.

Guns don’t need control. The problem is individuals whose “value system” allows them to murder. In other words, they don’t have a value system.

Since the state has stepped in and taken over the role of the parent, the state has eliminated the value systems taught by the parent.

They want to take guns from non-violent people and leave them in the hands of violent criminals.

EXACTLY, it is about registering ALL FIREARMS and then banning transfers when the “NICS system is overloaded/we’re in a national emergency”.

“knock knock, we’re here to check your guns!”

A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.

Congress can't do this and someone needs to step up and remind them of that fact.

Too bad some Republican Congressman doesn't have the manhood to challenged them on their illegal and unconstitutional actions.

This needs to be made a big deal of and be confronted boldly and openly.

FORCE it into the public eye and force the public to see what the Constitution says.

How many Felons and Illegals failed a Background Check and weren’t immediately arrested for trying to purchase a Firearm?

Partner, you hit the nail in the head. Why is our government too scared to answer this simple question???

The 2nd amendment is not about deer hunting, it is all about arming a population giving them the ability to overthrow an out of control government or foreign invaders

That is why those in government want the 2nd abolished
