Well, there's leverage; and there's cheating; and the principle that holds that power must be exercised, or it isn't power. (Consider the disparity between D and R. The flaccid R's can have the upper hand in 3 branches of govt, as they did in 2017, but be unwilling even to investigate a notorious criminal gang operating at the highest levels. Whereas D's go Robespierre on anyone, from Roger Stone and the Little Sisters of the Poor, on up.)

The Democrats have disproportionate power because they apply it and the Republicans don't.
