That’s one of my biggest questions, as well. Not only Cortez, but others as well. It’s beyond puzzling to me why we aren’t on them like flies on shi*.
Most likely they’re just happy with their desk jobs, playing their part and reading the script.
The script says they run in place when they have the ball, and otherwise play Washington Generals to the Democrats’ Harlem Globetrotters.

I am sure she has powerful backers now.
But they did not convince Joseph Crowley to flub it in the primary.
They saw a chance because Crowley became complacent.
