Actually I think it’s the other way around. Pelosi, Hoyer and the rest of the Old Guard Democrats have no clue what’s about to hit them. How is it a dimwitted freshman legislator with a little over a month of experience becomes a national star, major spokesperson, and visible symbol of the party so quickly.
