Damned Susan Collins AGAIN!
I think she votes with the Dems more than she does the Pubs.
Wouldn’t it be great if we had some Democrats like her? No. Their team votes as a solid block while ours is “principled.” Only Republicans reach across the aisle to show how reasonable they are.
This is how it works. The left proposes something extreme and our side reaches across the aisle in an effort to compromise. The left gives in on a few of the most extreme points but gets the rest.
You see this sort of thing all the time in business. Every department asks for more than it needs, knowing they’ll get less but still have plenty to keep operating. The departments who are typically screwed are ones who honestly request only what they truly need.
Compromise for Democrats means giving them 90% of what they demand.
That’s it....no more lobsters from Maine.

You may want to look that up. She votes for at least 95% of Republican-nominated judges, and did vote for Kavenaugh (after some drama), and Gorsuch. Find me any DEMOCRAT that comes close to matching her record on voting for Republican-nominated judges.
But think about things now. She knew her vote didn’t count since we have 53 Republican Senators, and she’s in a desperate battle to hold her seat n 2020 against what will be a FLAMING LEFTIST - so if she wants to throw away some meaningless votes, I have no issue with her.
