It’s that wonderful trait they have of dividing everything into a false dichotomy (all the while they push their line of bulll**** about “diversity” and “inclusivity”). They’re stuck with trying to differentiate themselves from, well, real, regular, rank and file people (y’know, patriots, Republicans, conservatives) and have been corraled by President Trump. They can’t even come right out and admit that they’ve been outmaneuvered by someone they have consistently (and for years before he went into politics) smeared as some kind of nimrod.
I suspect the only strategy that is being implemented to address this are systematic leaks against candidates they want to eliminate among their own field (Beto’s weird white male and tried to pass as Latino; Bernie’s a rapist wannabee plus too old too white, white and male; Hickenlooper supports fracking but so do most people so let’s talk about his porn experiences) and will wind up with a ticket sporting infanticide-supporting, court-packing advocacy, open-borders agnostic (because open borders are an obvious loser, watch the coverage just fall right off the air), oh, and somehow a sexual deviant (gay, trans, otherwise degenerate). I figure that the South Bend(over) mayor will wind up the 2020 VP nominee for the Demagogic Party.

That is beyond the realm of abnormal!
Just jackass jockeys being jackass jockeys. It’s normal for them.
Some of this, I’m sure, is media manipulation against certain of the upcoming primary candidates, but underneath that there’s the painful truth that these are fundamentally some pretty weird people. Hard to say if power does that to people or if it only attracts people like that, but turning DC into a giant rubber room would probably benefit the country and the inhabitants might not notice.
Yeah, all that damning evidence of Trump’s weirdness really jumped out. LOL.
Twice divorced, philanderer, addicted to fast food & social media? A pathological liar who brags about the size of his genitalia?
Sounds like a normal guy to me.
They are really trying hard to out weird each other in order to relate to the weirdness of their base.
During the 2016 election, I decided that God sent us Trump to punish the Republican Party. Now we can see what the Good Lord is doing to the Democrats. Or as Euripides put it, “Whom the gods destroy they first make mad.”
