Christopher Columbus had no idea what caused measles. The concept of "germs" and "bacteria" were unknown in those days. He could no more have prevented a disease he knew nothing about than he could have weaponized it (as has been suggested by some revisionist paranoics).

A group with relative immunity was exposed to a group with none. As a result, thousands of the immune-absent group died. The same thing happened to Europeans when traders brought the Plague back from the Far East.

It's what happens with multiculturalism. Kinda like how people in sanctuary cities are now being exposed to typhoid, tuberculosis, and smallpox.

“Christopher Columbus had no idea what caused measles.”

They make it sound like coordinated biological warfare.
