“How about that? It’s because they pulled funding from Moore in the first place that convinced a lot of people he was a child molester and rapist.”

I agree with many of your other sentiments that Alabama should decide its own elections and everyone should stay the heck out of it, etc. However your statement above is not an accurate statement.

Moore’s strengths have always been his morals and values. He wore religion on his sleeves. The allegations and the fact he dated young women gave him the creep factor and resulted in him becoming an embarrassment. He was also a lousy candidate. Many wrote in names on the ballots or stayed home.

Moore’s strengths have always been his morals and values. He wore religion on his sleeves. The allegations and the fact he dated young women gave him the creep factor and resulted in him becoming an embarrassment. He was also a lousy candidate. Many wrote in names on the ballots or stayed home.

The claim that he dated 18 and 19 year old women was not what caused his loss. It was the serious claims by two women that caused his loss. The one woman claimed he molested her when she was 14 years old. The other woman claimed he attempted to rape her when she was 16 years old.

Only these two claims had any significance in the election. The other six women who said they dated Moore as a Teenager did not cause any significant losses to Moore.

What made it problematic is the fact that Stephanie McCrummen, the lying witch from the Washington Post, combined the two serious claims by these two particular women, with the other six women who claimed they dated Moore (and said he behaved as a perfect gentleman by the way) and then repeated "8 accusers! 8 accusers!"

Also, one of those women who claims to have dated Moore when she was 18 was a Democrat party activist, (Debbie Wesson Gibson) and she is the one that did in fact make the Washington Post reporter Stephanie McCrummen aware of these two women (Leigh Corfman and Beverly Young Nelson) making the serious accusations.
