I agree that “Nazi” translated as “National Socialist”, but let’s not get carried away. Hitler gave the Unions a Holliday when he got power, and then promptly banned them.
I would like to get History correct, and it seems that we cannot with so many Communists writing it.
Hitler’s fascism was undoubtedly a reaction to Communism sweeping Europe after Russia’s revolution. It was decidedly anti-communist.
WWII could probably be best described as the “World War to save Communism” with FDR and her husband leading the charge.
