I wouldn’t be a bit surprised that Herr Mewler ordered the prison hit on Whitey Bulger to shut him up.
Referrals are not public documents. Revealing them could could alert suspects and compromise ongoing investigations.
Congressional criminal referrals are public.
IG reports are public.
Criminal referrals in IG reports are public.
For crimes already committed, public criminal referrals don't compromise investigations.
Suspects are alerted during investigations, when witnesses and they themselves may be interviewed.
Suspects are alerted when there are grand juries.
Where are the criminal referrals? Where are the grand juries?
Suspects are also alerted by the IG when there are criminal referrals.
Waste of our time.
We will see nothing or hear anything. The system is corrupt to it’s core.
No one has nor will anyone be charged in these mountain of crimes.
Zero.....
Just trust President Trump and relax. We will get there when we get there and no amount of whining or crap-posting will make it happen sooner.
“Unlike some others here I AM still holding out hope for the IG report.”
Me too. Everyone is too quick to speculate without facts. Real justice takes time.
Lol....IG wHorewitz is an Obama appointee
IG report will be a whitewash anyway.
I suspect too many key players on the “prosecution” side are prominently featured in the Epstein Family Albums, and his surprise arrest may bring to a halt any foolish notions of doing their jobs.
The IG is within DoJ, and bound by their policies.
They are the investigators and prosecutors. They are professionally bound to protect the integrity of investigations, and the secrecy of Grand Jury proceedings.
There are formal ways to approve the release of such information (like court order or Congressional request/subpoena), and sometimes subjects are alerted through leaks or errors.
So in some cases, some of the information you listed was made public (rightly or wrongly), and suspects may have been wrongly alerted.
But as a matter of DoJ internal policy, that stuff must be kept confidential, under penalty.
Excellent timeline summary. Wake me when there are indictments.
Bongino on fire today with the new stuff from Sara Carter and John Solomon. +Schiff is dissing the IG (panic).
They can rule out terrorism before the crime scene tape is up, but it takes years to indict obvious deep state felons.
Spit.
Then I remember Assange saying he would release the goods on Hillary.
Then it was the IG’s report that was going to set the record straight on the Hillary cover-up and Russia lie.
I will believe it when I see it. I sure hope that the IG does something to cleanse the DOJ and FBI of its corruption.
I hope you’re correct in that view. But at this point, all I see is the S-o-L running and NOTHING visible being done. Barr has been invisible and mute since he played the pipes a while back; and Durham has never made a ripple that I’ve noticed. Not to mention the tarrying IG. All signs for at least 3 decades say that all democRATS will skate.
Another phony. First it was Horowitz, then Huber, then Barr, then Durham.
Endless cycle of do-nothings at DOJ.
Remember, going after the Deep State is only one small part of the incredible failure of the DOJ under Trump. Don’t know how else to put it.
Sessions FAILED to prosecute ANY of the fascist Antifa types;
He FAILED to enforce federal laws against one single “sanctuary city.”
He FAILED to arrest SecStates who would not comply with Kris Kobach’s voter fraud investigation.
These are huge failings. They affect us daily. It’s why conservative journalists are assaulted; its why there are still a dozen “sanctuary cities,” and it’s why we still don’t have a handle on vote fraud.
I get that until Mulehead’s report was out, Trump was subject to whatever the heck the DOJ chose to do or not do, but Barr is a massive disappointment. Tough talker, no follow.
They are taking too long with the IG report.
So the article kind of lays out why the IG report was delayed.
I’ll gladly pay you Tuesday for a hamburger today
