D.C. police have released video of a group of teenagers that punched, kicked, and spat upon a man who was walking into the Washington Hilton hotel on Connecticut Avenue.
According to police, at approximately 1 a.m. on Sunday, July 14, as a man walked toward the revolving door of the hotel, located in the 1900 block of Connecticut Ave. NW, he was confronted by a male police believe is a teenager.
After the youngster punched the man in the face, a group of about 10 boys and girls ran up, and began repeatedly punching and kicking the man.
After approximately 30 seconds, a person came out of the revolving door, and the attackers ran, with one girl returning to spit on the victim, who was lying on the ground, a few feet in front of the door.

“Teens.”
“he was confronted by a male police believe is a teenager. “
grammar gulp
See, see! Look what Trump done said! Them racist redneck MAGA hat wearing white supremacists again!
Teens.
Youngsters.
Boys and girls.
Exhibit A on why you need more than 10 round magazines...even in gun free DC.
He was attacked by a wild PACK of rogue NEGROES!
“See, see! Look what Trump done said! Them racist redneck MAGA hat wearing white supremacists again!
“
Where did you see a MAGA hat?
These are vile, despicable SUB-HUMANS!
Teens and youngsters, and boys and girls, Oh My! Just innocent hijinks on their way to the malt shop
Alas, Liberia was such a prescient notion . . .
Well I think one of them had a Dutch Grandmother.
Did the males of the group look like what “Obama’s son would have looked like if he had one”?
“A youngster” initiated the attack.
The hotel clerk told us to not leave our rooms after dark, and to always leave in groups of two or more - into the hallways! Yes, we were warned to be careful of the hallway as well as going outside the hotel. At night, we heard all kinds of mayhem outside and a glance out the window showed punks walking around.
The next day I cut our stay short and went to the Georgetown hotel. A difference of day and night, with well-to-do whites and nice restaurants. Racist? No, a matter of life and death.
I’ve really had it with packs of racist, wild black animals attacking innocent people and police officers.
Their damn “culture” (if that’s what you want to call it) needs to get a grip on these sub-animals because it sure as hell isn’t doing anything for “race relations” - which they seem obsessed with.

The only upside is the possibility he was a democrat.
My daughter lives in Washington now and is an attorney there. On our last visit, we encountered women in sun dresses walking through Dupont and Georgetown at 10:30 at night. This would have been previously impossible in my experience. The story mentioned here is more indicative of 1972 DC and Hunter Thompson’s book about the Nixon campaign.
As you stated, in 1995, the hotels had signs telling you not to be out alone after dark. They were on the dressers and refrigerators in hotel rooms. In 1987, I stayed at the Washington Hilton, a huge hotel, and there was one side of it that went through a scary looking, desolate neighborhood. Apparently that neighborhood has come back to life and traveled to the front door. They need to clean that up, fast.
This was right near Dupont Circle, famous as the main Gay neighborhood in DC.
Here is my theory:
These two similarly dressed white guys going into the hotel together are probably a gay couple, and one of them may have come onto the Black guy who points him out (or possibly even groped him). He may have mistaken the young Black guy for a homosexual prostitute, and crudely propositioned him.
The offended Black guy in turn may have gotten his friends and gone looking to beat him down.
