True, but Judge Scalia didn’t even get that much consideration when he died under (what many believe to be) dubious circumstances.
Much investigation was warranted, but he was embalmed with formaldehyde (I think) so no autopsy could be performed. A sitting Supreme Court Judge, and no investigation, no answered questions. End of story.

Maybe the scene was staged AFTER the fact? We have only hearsay on the actual death scene and “cause of death”.
