As a true believer in her own BS and shamelessly opportunistic, she probably sees this as another way to climb up the rungs of power. She has no use for the power players who were involved with Epstein over the years. They didn’t support her candidacy except in the most superficial “hey look at that pretty girl doing stuff” way, they didn’t fund her campaign or steer her messaging. If anything, the more of them that are driven out of her way in the fallout the better.
In this instance, if she is to be believed, she is absolutely in alignment with liberty and freedom from a tyrranical government. (Of course, if allowed to continue to gain power and influence, she’d only install her own tyrrany on all of us, but I don’t think she ever made that a secret.)
