Getting news the next morning is getting news late in today’s world.
Late for what? The caveat attaching to "Breaking News” was stated by Donald Rumsfeld when he told W that Saddam Husain had been captured: “First reports are always wrong.”

I have always been primarily interested in the Editorial and Op-Ed pages of the paper. And whereas previously I had actually habitually listened to “News Radio,” since the Carter era I have denigrated broadcast journalism. Precisely because of the lack of perspective in breaking news.
