Well the problem we have is there are ‘the unstable’ buying guns who shouldn’t be allowed. It’s been said we need to have institutions for these people rather than on the streets. Good idea would be taking all these schools closed up and make them into Institutional Care.

I know. But I doubt if snooty NY lib Ivanka is. And I think she’s involve in “negotiating” on the issue, because she has friends on both sides. (At least, that’s what I read.) That’s why I think PDJT might be dealing with a son vs daughter situation.

I was watching it closed feed and hour and a half before it started, and they moved a bunch of folks down into the area right behind Trump and the floor in front of him. So while the legal capacity for seating was probably filled, many packed down onto the lower areas. Legal capacity can be a problem for events like this, they can’t always cram as many as they would like in there.
My sister and I were discussing this. And also why he was held up so long before his appearance. And why he wasn’t as rowdy tonight — different in some way. We had heard that the Rats were planning to cause major trouble at this rally, and infiltrate the audience. Maybe there were extra security precautions.
And how do you know what was ON the teleprompter?
Have you ever done public speaking? Often, people just have notes of key words to remind them of the points they want to remember to bring up.
I didn’t see anything ‘stilted’ or ‘memorized’ in his presentation tonight. I thought he was impassioned, sincere, and direct.
IVANKA is the weak link in the TRUMP FAMILY. No one elected her or supports her liberal ideas.

He suggested that the closure of mental institutions led to an influx of sick individuals on the streets. Trump proposed building new facilities to get those individuals help, and implied that it would assist in the fight against gun violence.

I was a little slow to catch it and then I noticed the hat in his hand. We have to get new ones now, the new ones he was handing out have Keep America Great instead of make America great. lol
yep, heard him. We can thank the Demoraats for closing these institutions and putting these people on the streets, who often end up in prison.

Well, I think he did very well.
(He’s the president of US, you know - not of anybody else.)
I had a ticket and got there when the doors opened three hours before the start, but the line was so incredibly long ( I walked it) that I quickly realized there were far more people than the 12,000 the stadium could hold. I made the call and went home to watch it on C-Span.
Bummed I couldn’t get in, very happy about the level of support.
BTW, the counter-protest was pitiful, about 200-300 people. Happy to say the police had it under control.
