When you’re as busy as he is now, doing so much good for the Nation, it’s a good idea to keep notes for events like this, and be able to refer to them.
I frankly can’t remember any president who spoke as immediately and extemporaneously to such great effect as Trump has always done.
Most politicians come across as if they are reading speeches. Trump comes across as if he’s speaking from his heart and mind directly to an individual, or a small group of them. If he needs a few notes now and then, I don’t care.
