He is wrong on few things, including this one. Letting this stuff go only makes it acceptable. For example, letting antifa commit violence only adds to its acceptance. Not punishing rioters does the same thing.

When it was time to return the gate for our flight was next to an El-Al gate. Each and every passenger upon entering that gate had to go through a “Closet - Small room” where they were I would posit thoroughly searched, I will leave it to your imagination for details
All around the gate and leading to it were Military armed with full automatic rifles and other gear. With time before the flight I walked in that general direction and the response was immediate, and the soldiers followed me all the way back to my gate holding their weapons in a ready state.
That was in the late 1980’s, I am sure the process has shall I say “Evolved” since then, and that they get the full tour
