Barr can't pass the buck on Epstein
CNN ^ | Aug 13 2019 | Elie Honig

Posted on 08/20/2019 3:27:50 PM PDT by rintintin

When Attorney General William Barr said he was "appalled" and "angry" after Jeffrey Epstein's apparent suicide at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan, you'd almost have thought Barr himself bore no responsibility. He spoke of "serious irregularities" and "demanded" an investigation -- as if he were some outside observer incapable of simply ordering an investigation himself.

Listening to him pour fire and brimstone on the rank-and-file who run the jail, you almost have to wonder: Has Barr taken a look at his org chart recently? Because the Metropolitan Correctional Center is part of the Bureau of Prisons, which is part of the Justice Department, which Barr runs.

He is responsible for all of it. This happened in Barr's house. He doesn't get to stand outside, wag his finger, roll the blame downhill and call it a day.

“Funny how they want to hold Barr to a level of responsibility they consistently insisted the Clintons and Obama were not.”

And if we don’t want to hold Barr to a level of accountability that we wanted for Clintons and Obama, then we’re just doing a CNN in reverse.

I wish Barr had handled this personally, though. Sometimes I do not trust anyone to do the right thing, except the president.

Holding Barr responsible for what happened in that prison is just about as asinine as you can get, and if you can’t see that you may be part of CNN’s demographic.

You’re missing the obvious.

CNN is hypocritical with regards to who they decide to hold accountable at the top of the food chain.

That’s the only point I was making. Period. (.)

So, taking this idiocy to its logical conclusion

Taking it to its logical conclusion, if bagging a high level criminal that can potentially name very high level names and shake the core of government and industry does not make the AG's radar such that he's not interested in keeping this criminal/witness alive, then, logically, he's either an incompetent ass, or complicit. Logically.

Barr has basically two major prisoners under his prevue. One, El Chapo, and the other epstein. He doesn't need to micro-manage every prison. He just needs to direct somebody to assign extra security to these two prisoners to keep them alive given their extremely useful value in collaring other criminals/cohorts.

The AG failed! He failed to secure the island evidence. He failed to keep his prisoner alive, and he failed to collar Maxell. He's a fat, failing failure. Or a dirty cop. Pick one. Probably too busy showing off his blowharding skill on a set of MacRea's.

Because the Metropolitan Correctional Center is part of the Bureau of Prisons, which is part of the Justice Department, which Barr runs.

In theory. In practice, all of these entities are run by Obama/Clinton holdovers, who pay little attention to Administration officials who are not working for the Deep State.

Barr could have had a camera put in the cell with a direct feed to The warden and barrs office. I’m serious.

The best way for CNN to give barr cover is to attack him.

It is not a prison it’s a jail. People are awaiting trial.

Well I can’t want for them to jump on Obama for spying on Trump because as a President everything in the Federal Government is on his organization chart!

Agree. Barr needed to watch the situation closely. But he wasn’t in the prison at the time. All kinds of stupid/evil underlings were responsible/paid off.

A serious investigation is needed,. Tho it’s too late to make a difference., we at least need to see the dots connected. And there are so very many possibilities.

IMHO, another Arkancide.

Well according to him....Mobster John Gotti was what Honig said his ‘biggest disappointment’; after his office failed three times to successfully prosecute and convict John Gotti Jr, in 2009, Honig lost the case again to a hung jury.

Three time failure Honig!

Barr is CIA, his outrage is an act. They ALL benefit from silencing Eps...Clintons, Obama, and yes Trump too, but Israel benefits more than any other.

I am appalled that Barr let Epstein die under his watch. He was only in there 5 weeks.

It was a lie being passed around Twitter that Donald Barr hired Epstein to teach. Barr had been gone from the institute for six months before Epstein was hired.
