The statement releasing this information to the public was drafted by lawyers. So as always, look at the words that the statement used. “Is” is and all of that.

The statement says: “[n]”o evidence of disease elsewhere.”

Elsewhere.

Meaning, the tumor is still in the pancreas, and has obstructed the biliary duct to the extent that a stent needed to be put in.

They only did radiographic ablation, not surgery.

Most likely, such a treatment is only for palliative purposes.

For those of you wondering, best guess is 3 to 6 months, once the cancer has occluded the biliary tract.

That’s in an otherwise healthy individual, not an 86 year old.

Let’s hope she retires gracefully, enjoys her last days and sees the goodness in our country.
