I know everybody is going to hate me for this but I always associate Hurricane Season with Yacht Rock.

Yes, from mid-August to mid-September, it is Yacht Rock season. Christopher Cross, Ambrosia, Steely Dan, Michael McDonald, etc.

Pretty much every major hurricane coincides with Yacht Rock season.
