My stepfather-in-law lives on the barrier island ...just up from Sebastian Inlet. Often he rides it out. (*eye roll*. But he’s 85 and couldn’t give a sh*t). But THIS time he headed to friends in Tarpon Springs.

Oh, he’s a curmudgeon, for sure. But charming as heck. Picture the Dos Equis guy. :). Everyone who knows Ted says that guy is definitely modeled after Ted. He has been everywhere and done everything. Never graduated high school. His mother put him in the seminary..where he climbed the wall and ran away. Worked for the CIA in the early 1970s. Has been kidnapped by both the Iranians and the Israelies.

But YES...we’re glad he decided to go do his drinking with friends on the other coast :). God willing we’re heading down later this month.
