"Fear of being rounded up and murdered by Leftists is a powerful motivator too." "Think that statement is hyperbolic?" "Look at the media acquiescence toward the violence of Antifa and the outright praise of that group by Leftists."

THAT CAN'T HAPPEN HERE IN THE UNITED STATES..!! Why, we all love each other here in the good old US. of A. We're all going to get together and sing "com-by-ya" any minute now... /s

Mao Zedong Catastrophes 1946-1976.
Stalinist Crimes against humanity and genocide 19221953.
Nazi Holocaust 1939-1945.
Mass killings under Chinese Nationalist Government 1928-1946.
Atrocities under Ranavalona I of Madagascar 1829-1842.
Khmer Rouge Holocaust 1975-1979.
Young Turk’s Ottoman Holocaust 1913-1922.
North Korean Crimes against humanity 1948-present..

Just something to think about while we're singing.... :(

I'm not overly worried about 2020, but 2024 is anyone's guess. Trump will be an impossibly hard act to follow for any Republican and if the Democrats manage to muzzle their crazies they might just get another slick-talking Obama-like Trojan horse through the gates.

Trump has 12 months to expose the real sickening criminality of those who would destroy America, which means indictments, arrests, very public trials, and criminal convictions for most if not all of the "untouchables". In his second term he then needs to permanently remove the power base of the corruption to finish the job. It will be a daunting job, but it is still possible.

Perhaps you can explain to me how the Texas border has been so porous for so long? Also, why Texas politicos couldn’t do more about it! Or better yet, why Cruz would go along with his wife supporting the CFR? Is she cabal and that’s OK with you?

Spot on. Texas is trending blue in very large part because the GOP has been fully supportive of open borders. They have lied to us since Reagan (30 years!) about wanting to secure the border. Over that time the GOP always found money to fund Democrat pet projects like NPR and Planned Infanticide but could never do the same for an actual plank in their platform.

It should be no surprise then when GOP career politicians like Cruz airbrush the history of their party.

However I don’t know if Texas is close to flipping. My guess is everyone will be highly motivated in 2020 and it will be one hell of a fight.

2020 is a bit early but the trends are undeniable. But fortunately Democrats can’t help themselves and their radicalism will destroy any chance they had to beat Trump.

The way to beat Trump is the way the Dems beat HW Bush. Separate him from his base and triangulate him with “moderate” policies. Fortunately, the tantruming Dems can not think that strategically.

How many millions of illegals will be voting in Texas in 2020?

***********

Texas had just over 8 million total voters in last year’s governor election.
President election in 2016 was just a little higher but still less than 9 million.

Trump being Trump has been the best thing America has seen in a very long time.

What’s Cruz’ answer? Trump stop being Trump? Go pound sand Ted. BTW, you look terrible, like you’ve been run over by a freight train or something.

2020 is Trump’s.

2024 belongs to Divine Providence Who, if America is to survive, will need to pull another 1776/2016 stunt out of His Divine Hat.

"If Republicans lose Texas, they will be a minority party nationally for a long time."

I think the demorats will immediately begin overplaying their hand and probably start CWII... But, that's just MHO..

“Sorry bozo”

No, you’re not sorry.

It becomes an unproductive waste of time to engage in dialogue with people who default to name-calling rather than relying on logic and reason to make their case. You may imagine yourself to be like the president with clever names he gives his opponents, but you aren’t. He has to cut through media clutter to get his point across in sound bites. But this is a forum with rules.

“we are all allowed our opinions here”

Not on FR. On the Internet in America you have free speech. On FR you have to respect the rules and what the owner of the site says. He has kicked people off for bashing Trump AND for bashing Cruz. So, maybe you should take that into consideration.

“It should be no surprise then when GOP career politicians like Cruz airbrush the history of their party.”

So, if you see a man ding your car door at the mall, do you randomly go up to some similar looking man and punch him in the face and tell him that’s for looking like the guy who dinged your car?

Your argument makes no sense. You and the crazy anti-Cruzers here attack one of the most conservative senators who has stood up to the GOP repeatedly and then fault him for the party’s lies and failures.

Cruz is pro-life, pro-family, pro-free speech, pro-second amendment patriot who opposes amnesty and open borders.

"When (not if) the Hispanic voting majority in Texas is old enough to vote, Texas becomes Tejas, a permanent lock for the Democrats. Like Colorado, New Mexico, Nevada, and of course California, Tejas will be part of the GOP stronghold-turned-graveyard that is the American West."

Can you Just imagine the anger of the folks in our country when they realize the demorats gave away a third of our nation to a third world country..

Once Texas goes blue, that’s the end. Democrats will have their permanent majority and permanent control. That will be the future because all the youth is indoctrinated. And most immigrants vote Democrat.

Well, Cruz could be right. Trump has failed to restore the rule of law.

The democraps tried a coup d’état by using the powers of the intelligence agencies, the law enforcement, the justice department, and foreign spies...no one went to jail.

The democraps did outright illegal voter fraud by stuffing ballot boxes...no one went to jail.

The democraps registered illegal aliens to vote...no one went to jail.

Trump has done many great things for this country, but for the most important one, restoring the rule of law, he hasn’t lifted a finger. Everything he has done can quickly be undone by an incoming democrap president.

Amazing isn’t it. Perhaps that’s why so many left they knew they screwed up and their time was coming up. It may be a blessing in disguise if we wind up with more conservative candidates. Also, with a Ryan or Piglosi in charge most newbee house members are pretty much told what to do or else they will be relegated to virtual obscurity. We need a more fair and balanced leader of both houses.

What exactly was Ted Cruz doing when the homosexual Texas case went to the Supremes that made same sex marriage the law of the land? He never uttered a ‘Christian’ word on that matter. Some people are literally living to be seduced by any spirit that floats their boat.

“If I need your advice ill ask for it.”

That’s fine. If a member of this forum doesn’t want to follow the rules of the forum such a person can just have his or her posts deleted, as your last one was. But for those who want to follow the rules, just under the posting buttons it says... “Please: NO profanity, NO personal attacks, NO racism or violence in posts.”

Name-calling, when it is not merely lighthearted humor, serves no useful purpose here. It is usually treated as a personal attack.

You don’t have to take unwanted “advice” from me or even the forum moderator, but you might find your account suspended if you decide to make your own rules.

Never-mind me. I’m just here trying to engage in civil discussions, reasoned debate, and informative conservations with likeminded conservatives. If the shoe does not fit, don’t wear it.

You don’t have to do anything... other than take the consequences of your own choices.
