Even if the Judge is acting as the Devils advocate, still he steps out dangerously close to the edge of calumny and slander.
Any act may be described in both a positive and a negative light. But to artificially suppress any redeeming social benefit, while emphasizing and extrapolating possible criminal inferences to the point of near parody, really serves no one, least of all the Judge.
Straighten up and fly right, Judge. Do not waste your talent in these useless scenarios, none of which have any chance of coming to fruition.

As for being passed over for the SCOTUS, that doesn’t happen to NJ traffic court judges.
He’s just not an expert. Judge Nap is a lawyer and former Judge but I know a ton of those and that doesn’t make them “experts.” This is just plain ridiculous.
Nap is a fraud. He is about as much of an expert as the lawyer down the street.
