What nobody mentions is that someone calling a Code Red could have saved most if not every victim. Nobody had to be a hero by rushing into the building.
A Code Red means everybody shelters inside a classroom with the door closed. Cruz stayed in the hallways and only shot people he could see. His intent was to set up a sniper position on the third floor, not to enter classrooms and shoot people.
