-- Useless, do something that will actually matter --

Right now the only venue this scam is playing in, is the press. We'll see if this stunt has any effect on what the press reports.

It is a resolution that 41 repubs have signed off on. It takes 67 senators to remove a president. 41 are saying we won’t even listen unless you change the house process.

Feckless?

The Constitution clearly calls for the House to do their part first. Then the Senate votes on whether to remove the President.

But I do think ALL Repubs should be loudly and clearly objecting to this Star Chamber farce. And be of one voice now in stating that the Senate will not remove the President

I think something weird is potentially about to happen.

Graham didn't really say anything too awfully different than what a lot of people have been discussing, but he DID make it a point that he had made recommendations to President Trump and that the President chose his own way.

Based on that, Linda is distancing himself from a shit storm, in my opinion.

A list of who isn’t signing off would be more useful. Along with a link to their primary challengers donation page

It’s creating a public record. It IS doing something.

Sternly written “public records” have stopped exactly zero coups in the history of the world. The House Dems and the Deep State have the green light from the Senate GOP to continue their coup.

Technically, they aren't even saying this. Wise not to, because the paths taken, rules and decisions made, always depend on the facts (or what people choose to represent as what they believe the facts to be).

This document just exhorts the House to adopt certain principles, and I submit that even THOSE are fact-dependent and not always proper. It doesn;t set out any pealty or remedy if the exhortation is rejected.

This document, like the House "impeach Trump" resolutions, is just fodder for the press. It has ZERO legal significance. It might have some historical significance, just as a record more likely to be noticed by whoever is studying the remains of the republic.

As the chairman of the senate judiciary committee Linda has the authority to subpoena ever person Schiff for Brains has called before his Kangaroo Court and make them all testify under oath at public hearings.

Linda has been asked repeatedly to do so and he has refused.

The latest time he was ask was last night by Hannity and he again refused.

Instead he used his appearance to promote this meaningless tripe where he is asking the House dems for fairness.

Even if passed it has no power at all to compel the House dems to change what they are doing. It is meaningless posturing. Something republicans are very comfortable with.

Yet this asshat Senator Graham does not use the power of Senate Judiciary Committee to subpoena testimony. Senator Graham is either weak or he is Deep State.

“Linda doing this to change subject why he is not having hearings on Deep State Criminals.”

There is that. He could easily call in Ambassador Taylor for example.

Unsurprisingly, Little Marco isn’t on the list. Rick Scott is. Interesting to again see daylight between them on important positions.

Graham should have immediately called in the IC IG when it was reported he changed the whistleblower regs to accommodate this seditious attack from inside the White House on POTUS. That he did not makes him a co-conspirator and no less.
