The worst piece of advice ever to Trump: Jonah Goldberg of National Review Says he should apologize
American Thinker ^ | 11/01/2019 | Jack Hellner

Posted on 11/01/2019 7:47:18 AM PDT by SeekAndFind

Jonah Goldberg, writing at National Review, says that President Trump is guilty and should apologize.

In l’affaire Ukraine, the president is guilty as charged. And the best strategy for him to avoid impeachment by the House and perhaps even removal by the Senate is to admit it, apologize, and let voters make their own judgment. It’s also the best way to fend off a disaster for Senate Republicans.

This is one pathetic piece of advice which could have been written by any of many NeverTrumpers like Boot, Noonan, Rubin, Brooks and Romney, who like to pretend they still are conservatives.

President Clinton signed an agreement with Ukraine in 1999 to cooperate to root out corruption, but according to Goldberg, most journalists, other Democrats and several Republicans, the only corruption Trump could ever ask about would be corruption by people other than Americans (does that make sense?).  Otherwise, Trump is guilty and could be impeached.

We know from Politico and other sources that the Democrats worked with Ukraine to defeat Trump in 2016, but if Trump or Barr wants to investigate that absolute corruption they should be removed from office and apologize for even bringing it up.

We know that Obama/Biden withheld military aid from Ukraine and Trump gave them the aid but somehow Trump is the problem.

After watching most of the media and other Democrats the last three years, I have some advice for all current and future politicians. If you want to enrich yourselves and your families while you are in office, make sure you take your kickbacks on foreign soil from foreign sources because that would be off limits on all investigations.

“In l’affaire Ukraine, the president is guilty as charged”

What precisely is the charge?

What a dirtbag Goldberg is - and he looks like a dirtbag whenever they let him on TV. All disheveled and I know a drug user when I see one - he is.

Gotta laugh at him, Kristol and that other ridiculous s***head Steve Hayes - starting their little never-Trump periodical, that will be read by only them.

Until Jonah takes a bath, gets his hair cut and stops talking out of the side of his mouth and blinking relentlessly into the camera, he has nothing to say to me.

So this piece of worthless filth, this never-trumper, is now going to “advise” the President?

Wow. I haven’t read an article from NRO since this egg head came out against Trump. He’s been consistent along with people like Steven Hayes.

FOX still has this guy, along with Hayes, on now and then, and you have to strain, I mean really strain to ever hear either of them giving Trump some credit.

Add Peggy Noonan to the list, and Ann Coulter.

They’re nothing to me...zero.

Trump isn’t guilty of a damned thing.

If he wants to offer them Manhattan in exchange for 20 years of crop futures on radioactive wheat, it his damned prerogative. POTUS is IN CHARGE OF FOREIGN POLICY!

These cretins can’t get that through their thick heads.

Captain Nathan Brittles' advice, on the other hand, sounds more like it: “Never apologize, mister, it’s a sign of weakness.”

And especially so when dealing with rabid Democrats who are underestimating our building anger and overestimating their bodily security in public spaces.

Guilty of following a previous treaty with Ukraine and ensuring that Americans didn’t break the law and interfere with the legal process of another sovereign country. Yes!! Trump is guilty of doing his job and following the Constitution. Democrats should try it sometime. Joe Biden and Hunter broke US law and strong armed a country to prevent justice, Trump was doing the right thing.

What utter nonsense. Even watching ten or fifteen minutes of the Glenn Beck video on this subject from early last month completely destroys the media narrative or basically shows it for what it really is, basically a complete fabrication aimed at Trump.

And Glenn Beck was once a big-time anti-Trumper.

Never apologize to a Leftist. An apology is treated as an admission of guilt, and the Leftist will use that to destroy you.
