They are quite correct. "Gifted" is the last thing anyone would say about Democrats. The madrassas of Pakistan are good at rote, unquestioning memorization of dogma. There is the new educational model.

They can use Leninism for Social Studies, Lysenkoism for science, and teaching math is re-enforcing white privilege. Art must support the State.

Given the limited curriculum, they should be able to put line workers into the People's Factories by the time they are 12. The Glorious Proletariat only needs one deodorant, one tooth paste, and standing in line for bread is all part of being a Warrior in the Struggle.

That “educator of color” in your linked article looks pretty white to me.

Just like Elizabeth Warren.

As the neighborhood has gentrified, the G and T track has become more white and affluent. Well, we can’t have that now, can we?

Once again we see the test is the reason a certain group can not measure up. The ultimate solution is to just get rid of white and Asian students completely and then the system will have utopia.

Am I the only one here who doesn’t care whether a school ends its “gifted & talented” program?

If parents don’t like their children’s public school, they’re free to pay to send their kids to a private school (or homeschool).

“THE YEAR WAS 2081, and everybody was finally equal. They weren’t only equal before God and the law. They were equal every which way. Nobody was smarter than anybody else. Nobody was better looking than anybody else. Nobody was stronger or quicker than anybody else. All this equality was due to the 211th, 212th, and 213th Amendments to the Constitution, and to the unceasing vigilance of agents of the United States Handicapper General.” - K. Vonnegut Jr in “Harrison Bergeron”

Child abuse. Punishing gifted students for making the others looks bad. Too many Whites and Asians you see.

So, the Liberal educators are admitting that Peoples Of Colour cannot compete intellectually with White folk.

Good for them.

Yeah, after all, they could then deduct the tuition for the private school from their school taxes, right?

Right?!

Is this the story where the higher intelligence persons are being given dumb down pills to bring their functioning down to average levels?

1. Problem: Black students are over-represented in suspensions and expulsions. Solution: End suspensions and expulsions.
2. Problem: Black students are underrepresented in gifted and talented classes. Solution: End gifted and talented classes.

Diversity is to lower the overall common denominator of the quality of the societal whole. The sacrifice is upon all the top quality and performing individuals as funding resources are limited. Caring for bottom of the barrel students is several times more costly than simply freeing top performers to exercise their own drive and thirst for excellence. Diversity in many cases is nothing more than contamination of the RATE of societal progression. The drag anchor on the RATE of societal betterment.

The argument from the left starts out at, and is fiercely defended at, the onset emotional stance of relieving someones "pain" regardless of the cost the societal whole. Just like in taxation, the whole doesn't have a name, face or skin color so it can be burdened without anyone on the lefts conscience being tweaked.

Especially since the narrative is that the USA society being burdened is evil in it's history and totality already, from their projection, as racist, bigoted and too white.
