The Democrats’ tireless effort to remove President Trump from office via impeachment will fail. That much, along with death and taxes, is certain. There is no longer a question as to whether the Democrats will lose in their quest to upend 2016, the only remaining unknowns are where, when, and how badly. And, of course, who is to take the blame? If the buzz around Washington is to be believed, it’s Adam Schiff.

That's exactly why they gave it to Schiff. The Intelligence Committee? Really?

Impeachment proceedings belong in the Judicial Committee. They gave it to Schiff because he is weak and dirty, and they know it. They knew he would fight for his very life, metaphorically speaking. Look at all the desperate moves he made.

They had nothing, they knew it, and Nadler is unscathed. Oh, well. Except for the Mueller wounds he's still licking. Two humiliations woulda been too much for fatboy.

It was a stunt anyway.

There will be no vote on impeachment. They will vote to censure.

Pelosi has problem with far left candidates and having Schiff lead them to a dead end that was likely to occur shifts blame from her and Nadler in case of likely failure and Schiffs arrogance makes him easy target.

I prefer the Adoph Eichman analogy. Eichman was a pure evil man who got exactly what he deserved but, nevertheless, nothing but a totally wiling and complicit stooge for the higherups in the Nazi government. Schiff fits the mold.

Yup, Schiff is still really popular in the DS echo chamber; I suspect, if they sober up and call a halt to this fiasco, it will be entirely blamed on the intransigent Republicans, who threaten to wreak havoc if they continue with God’s work.

The case against Eichmann was falling apart, until they found evidence that he explicitly disobeyed Himmler's orders and ordered Jews to be killed, that Himmler wanted to use as hostages instead.

The House has no power to Censure a Member from a different Branch of Government, not that the Rules of Government mean anything to them.

Up to this point they have used their power to CENSOR the Republicans from presenting Witnesses and providing a Defense in response to their Impeachment Witch Hunt.

Maybe they can hold POTUS Trump in Contempt of Congress. It worked out great for former AG Eric Holder you know. LOL

I believe it because that’s how they think....they don’t think. They let emotions think for them.

Exactly, if they were smart they would never have gone down this road, especially with this case. Of course, if they were smart, they wouldn't be Democrats.

Anyway, I think there's a possibility that the Democrats go full throttle and take their chances in the Senate. Sure, it will likely be a bloodbath, but they've walked into certain defeat before-like when they nominated Hillary. They will push it to the Senate, and after they are trounced, they will get the media to put all the blame on the GOP for not seeing the evidence. Of course, no one else sees the evidence either, but that hasn't stopped their delusion so far.

Yes, the Dems have turned impeachment into just another step in their endless campaign for absolute power. They are quite willing to destroy the country and won't stop until they are thrown into maximum security prisons or are executed for sedition and treason.

Well said and right on. Their thinking is similar to that of the hard-core Nazis and Japanese in 1945. And those people needlessly allowed their nations to be utterly destroyed.

To be honest, Nan hasn't really been in control of her facilities since 2016. She is just as rabid as Schiff about getting POTUS out of office and overturning 2016.

POTUS Trump has mocked her incessantly since inauguration day, and Nan has gone over the edge. She will want that 'I' stamped next to his name FOREVER in history, and she is willing to destroy the Democrat Party to do it. Her condescending hand clap at the SOTU speech just solidified Trumps endeavor to destroy her and the rest of the Dims.

Either way they vote, Censure or Impeachment, is a death sentence for all 233 members with a D attached to their name. There will be a few survivors in all blue districts or stupid voters like Max, and Nan's districts, but they will be few, less than 100.
The commercials are running now and any Dim in a swing state is in peril. Impeachment will not go to the Senate, and 'Censure' is a sure loser with the left.

There is no win-win here for the Dims.
They haven't caught on yet, and probably never will.
