This guy is just a former public relations guy for Cigna. He's not a physician, and has no particular expertise at all in health care. Sounds like he toured a free clinic in West Virginia and came away appalled and an advocate for change - although he doesn't sound like he has any idea about the realities of practicing medicine and the day to day demands on the system. Michael Moore likes him, and he appears on MSNBC.

Medicare for all would be a disaster.

BOURGEOIS SOCIALISTS

A part of the bourgeoisie is desirous of redressing social grievances, in order to secure the continued existence of bourgeois society.

To this section belong economists, philanthropists, humanitarians, improvers of the condition of the working class, organisers of charity, members of societies for the prevention of cruelty to animals, temperance fanatics, hole-and-corner reformers of every imaginable kind. This form of Socialism has, moreover, been worked out into complete systems.

We may site Proudhon’s Philosophie de la Misere as an example of this form.
The Socialistic bourgeois want all the advantages of modern social conditions without the struggles and dangers necessarily resulting therefrom. They desire the existing state of society minus its revolutionary and disintegrating elements.

Communist Manifesto pg 49.

When you’re so bad that even the COMMUNISTS HATE YOU...you know you’re effed up. Bernie, Karl would’ve spit on you and you would’ve felt the burn from one to the back of the head from Uncle Joe as he kicked you into a shallow grave.

I am still on my company’s group policy as one of my retirement benefits. Medicare is a couple of years off for me. Recently I had a need to avail myself of very sophisticated and expensive medical treatment. I didn’t have to wait more than a week for even the most high tech scans. People at the treatment center couldn’t have been nicer.

I don’t want that to change.

Trading one third party payer for another will not reduce health care costs.

From the article: “The health insurance veteran currently runs two advocacy groups, Medicare for All Now and Business for Medicare for All. Both nonprofits seek to help move the nation towards a single-payer national health care system.”

How much money do these two advocacy groups receive from the federal government? You won’t find it on their websites, nor will you find out any sources of funding.

Perhaps if the GOP ever regains control of both Houses of Congress it can do two things:

1) Defund all of the liberal advocacy and social justice organizations receiving taxpayer funds.
2) Require non-profits to list on their websites all donors and the amount given. Donations to be posted as received.
