I’m waiting for the cops to go door-to-door and take these guns away by force. It’s a good test case for ideas being promoted by Democrats.

Ms. Quinn is either stupid or incredibly naive. Because that law affects two groups of people. The first group consists of people who are criminals. The second group consists of people who were unfairly targeted.
Neither group has the slightest motivation to turn in their guns.

“Is is disrespect for the new law?” No, it’s respect for the Constitution.

Shall not be infringed. You want to arrest convict and incarcerate. Go for it. Want to give them 20 years (or execute them if need be)? Ok by me. Once they are out and about and have served whatever sentence they were given, then the constitution still abides.

Obviously the New Law doesn't go far enough and needs to be expanded to ALL Public Employee's and Officers of the Court who make Deliberate False Statements for Public Consumption.

Yes it’s always a bit difficult to induce public servants to go to someone’s house for the purpose of talking them into handing over their firearms. Most any ten-year-old could explain why this is so, but it seems to be a challenging concept for politicians of a certain stripe.

Molon labe From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Jump to navigation Jump to search For other uses, see Molon labe (disambiguation). Commemorative statue of King Leonidas at the Battle of Thermopylae, with the words ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ (Molon labe, "Come and get them!"). Molon labe (Ancient Greek: μολὼν λαβέ, romanized: molṑn labé, lit. 'having come, take' Greek pronunciation: [mo.lɔ᷆ːn la.bé], Greek pronunciation: [moˈlon laˈve]), meaning "come and take [them]", is a classical expression of defiance. According to Plutarch,[1] Xerxes Iking of the Achaemenid Empiredemanded that the Spartans surrender their weapons and King Leonidas I responded with this phrase. It is an example of a laconic phrase.

So if I want to, I can take away your 2nd amendment rights by simply filing a complaint?
I don't have to be a spouse or relative?
Don't need witnesses or evidence?
Don't need to convince a judge to sign anything?
Just a name and an address, and I don't even have to prove I live there?

Barely 10% compliance. Similar to other places that have gun bans.

They do this because no one will object if domestic abusers are compelled to disarm themselves. First it was felons, then those accused of domestic violence, then it will be .50 cal rifles, then it will be “assault weapons” (because no one “needs” an assault weapon”), then it is any semi automatic firearm, then high powered “sniper rifles”, then handguns, then shotguns, then black powder firearms. One state and one group at a time.
