It’s the true story of a boy who fell through the ice and was submerged for over 15 minutes, given up for dead, but miraculously recovered as the result of prayer.
I know someone who actually knows this boy and his family.
In the movie both the firefighter who pulls him out of the water and the doctor who treats him are black. In real life they were white. The producers changed their colors to avoid.....this.
Flipping through the channels the other night, caught a short spurt of a movie (Overlord?) with black paratroopers preparing to jump on D-Day.
