Paperwork can be lost or you can’t find it. Democrats will sit on impeachment and bring it to the Senate when they think they have the votes to convict there.
Whether it takes six months or five years doesn’t matter. Democrats now have all the time in the world.
They’re not in any great hurry to bring it to trial.

No impeachment has occurred. There’s a process to it, and they haven’t done it.
As for dragging their feet to try to get the outcome they want, it was pointed out on another thread that Trump could file a Writ of Mandamus with the SCOTUS to force either a speedy trial or dismiss the charges.
They can’t have it both ways with a cheap excuse like “we don’t like your process”.
At this point I would not put money on Nan ever sending the articles over. She has zero leverage with Mitch McConnell.
