VA Constitution experts— the governor has no plenary power over sheriffs except as empowered by the Delegates? In FL, for example a sheriff can be removed (temporarily) by the governor under certain conditions. Which was a good thing, in the case of Broward County and sheriff (high school serial murderer case his officers did NOT prevent, for highly political crapola- all liberal, and, criminal).

Clearly, politically this a@@clown voted for GWB— then pretended he was “uninformed” then ran as a dem for VA Senate, and then the dems forced him to stay.. HE IS A Soros clown for sure-— a fence sitter, and NON-conservative. Covered his “service” in Army during “Desert Storm” the entire time in Landstuhl, DE at our base. Not a chest cutter, not a ER doc, just a covering “doctor” on the wards, which were not pediatric.
The most important backgrounder is his “pediatrics” medical specialty which world government wise BEGAN, nationally the the children’s(patient) parents questionnaire on “firearms in the home” as a medically preventive question masquerade against legal Arms Rights. Many Demon Party governor’s have intentionally been letting fellons out of prisons for years, just for their votes. Sometimes, just ahead of an election. VA has already seen this.
If the Demon party were legalize all drug use, which is an idea being floated now, then drug dealing would have to follow.
Very few prisoners today, have less morality, or are more guilty than many elected Democrats.
It is not a stretch at all, to believe the left would, IF THEY COULD, empty current prison space, in order to fill them with their political enemy at some point.
To be a Demon Party member, you have to be pro-murder, a proponent of absolute control and redistribution of everyone else’s property to your own benefit, and have no problem with lieing, cheating, stealing in general, to control and manipulate others - to get your own way.
To be Democrat, from principle, one needs to be at least borderline narcissistic, a wolf, or full on left wing stupid, and truly cannot have a problem with most crime.
*The problem the Democrat then has, and who or what they truly hate, is any policy, person, or group who would try to stop them from taking what they want, from whoever they want, for their own control and power, to satisfy their own debased perversions of everything!

— Meaning true Christians, conservatives, patriots, and anyone who would espouse moral boundaries, individualism (individual responsibility), and defenders of real liberty and our Constitution.
Again, while a bloody effort, and we are not quite there yet, at some point, if the left gains or takes enough aithority in our government, I believe they would not hesitate to empty the prisons, in order to facilitate is, their political prisoners.
