I really wish he’d address the nation in the evening...
Iranians are provoking a reaction. Best to project a business as usual attitude and not give them a crisis sound bite for their propaganda theater.
Tucker Carlson is till wetting the bed, his act is done.
Peaceful coexistence with these people isn’t possible.

An hour ago, I was thinking Trump was going to destroy Iran. Rethinking that now.
With no US casualties from the missile attack, I think his statement tomorrow may say, no casualties, no need to respond to Iran.
I don’t think Trump wants this to escalate. If there are no American casualties I think he will let Iran save face and then move against them with more economic sanctions.
Not to minimize what the Iranians are capable of doing, but this attack seems to be a warning, that’s all.
I am just surprised at how bad their aim is. A dozen ballistic missiles and they hit nothing!
And they saved so much money buying economy brand GPS systems at the going out of business sales at Sears.

DOW futures were down 400 earlier, now down only 78. Market may think the “conflict” is over.

We have irreconcilable differences with the Iranian regime.

IMHO, there is probably a much larger enemy plan underway.
The small launch probably was a feint to reveal initial response. i.e. which forces respond first. Branch plan would be for our counter then a massive unleashing of their planned coordinated attack.
I suspect the timetable for these events also is what pushed the Democrats into a hasty impeachment, then perhaps a hold by Pelosi, not wanting to reveal intentions.
Trump is playing it well.
No immediate counter. Relax and the enemy now has played their hand and if they continue, the entire enemy plan is exposed for what it is.
Plenty of options for our counter, but none where the enemy is controlling.
I suspect that this is just a face-saving, token act of “revenge.” If there are no US casualties, and basically all they did was blow up dirt, I think Trump will let it slide rather than escalate things.

Iran hit Saudi Arabia oil facilities a few months back with remarkable accuracy.

They chatter about trump following the same act as bush. Why cant any of these same act spewers think out of the box or look behind the curtain?
Not symbolic. Political. They hope to provoke Trump into a disproportionate attack and then use the anti-Trump hatred aka TDS of our media and the democrats to rail against Trump as a crazed lunatic.
The Trump haters would use the fact that not one American was killed yet, Trump went berserk and overreacted just like we said he would. He’s unhinged! He’s UNFIT! He’s DANGEROUS! And, the leftists would use this against Trump from now to November.
That is the Iranians play with this attack that lasted hours but apparently killed not one American. They are trying to set him up.
That’s my two cents.
