I suspect they will NOT do that, just as the Dems did not talk about Trump and his lady friends. It would just point to the possibility that the President was focused on HB and father and not the overall Ukraine situation.
Why didn’t Trump just knock out the Dem argument by inviting the new Ukraine President to the White House back in Sept. or Oct.? Would have made the Dem arguments look kind of stupid or meaningless.
I know it’s a silly thing, but Presidents have schedules.

That was short and sweet - loved how Schiff was pointed out for multiple “That just wasn’t true” instances and how he had to hide his “whistleblower” to protect himself because of so much that just wasn’t true.
I’m not sure actually. Will common sense and rationality work on the Senators? Drama is for the sake of public consumption.
I’d like to think a rational presentation would be preferred, but I’m afraid we live in a reality show world.
