“nd Jonah Goldberg, who was run out of National Review by its readers, and Steve Hayes, who ran The Weekly Standard on its road to ruin, are dubbed the bold new leaders of serious conservatives.”
Two insufferable idiots, neither of whom have accomplished anything significant in their lives.

When the dogs no longer eat it the product goes away. If by some miracle the coup conspirators get arrested and indicted the Brown SHirt Media will have to cover it and acknowledge what happened. Maybe then but they will never give up the con so expect more of it.

These guys, are losers, and they are still... mind you... still waiting for someone to say, that they were right.
EVery time Goldberg and Hayes are on TV....I’m not talking occasionally... I’m talking each and every time these asshats are on Fox...at some point they get around to bashing Trump....
It’s really funny.
It’s like when you let a car in front of you... you sit and wait for that little wave... and it always comes..
Same with these guys...sure as shooting no matter how good the news is, they’ll throw in their negative spin.
Goldberg is bad, Steve Hayes is the worst...well take that back... George Will is the worst...(whatever happened to him?)
I’m at the point now, that I can tolerate Juan Williams, because we now all know what is job is... He’s paid to take the other side... and you can tell the FIVE are laughing more with him, than at him anymore.
Goldberg and Hayes, and technically miserable people, because they realize they are highly irrelevant.

I once admired Jonah Goldberg and thought he was a very good writer.
He sure turned out to be a zero.
Oddly, his mother’s web site LUCIANNE.COM is definitely PRO TRUMP.
Interesting.

"In what industry would this hubris survive except for media? "
Same old, same old. Why does this author, and others like him, continue to treat media as a competitive business model? It obviously isn't, which is why he asks the very question above.
By simply flipping the narrative around, and viewing western media as a loss leading, budgetary expense for globalist strategic objectives - like any national defense budget - then it all makes perfect sense.
Life is short, and can be pretty boring and unfulfilling if one is financially comfortable, especially from birth. What exactly is one to do all day long?
Any ambitious leader, bored of life and interested in playing with people's lives, is attracted to movements that can deliver a control high. Globalism is today's current ticket; 90 years ago it was two major isms: communism & facism.
Media and finance are the globalists two chief assets. Destroy one or the other, and people can be free. Trump showed the way; Brexit - for anyone watching - is probably an even bigger tell. 2020 could be the turn around year - the people's Midway - when the end was clearly in sight, even though years of fighting were still in the program.

All the too many people that needed to be wrong for Trump to be right were, indeed, wrong, and always will be.

I heard, also but just via rumor, that Lucianne Goldberg sold that site.
They are very, very pro-Trump and USED to post Jonah’s posts from National Review.
Like I said, he’s a very good writer but he threw it all away just to be one of the cool gang.

where people can be incorrect again and again to the point of irrelevance yet still maintain columns, airtime, and glowing profiles about their bravery in the face of wrong. The story of Avanetti is a perfect example of this. Many leftist media people even proposed him as a possible presidential candidate Where are the mea culpas?

Can anyone identify the man on the far left in the photo? I can identify the others, Jonah Goldberg, Chris Hayes, Mitt Romney, and Steve Hayes.

Stop watching the driveby news. They are not on FOX News, I have never seen them there. Goldberg used to be a contributor to Townhall.com. He wrote his last op-ed for Townhall.com on September 27, 2019 titled: Little Doubt He Did It, But Should Trump Be Impeached?
