I don't know if you are serious or being sarcastic, but my mom spent her final year in a nursing home, and a majority of the caregivers were immigrants from the places I mentioned - India, the Philippines, Central America, and Africa. Many of these people retain family ties in their home countries, and travel back-and-forth is common. My own girlfriend is Filipino, and has visited the Philippines several times since I met her.

The corona virus is universally believed to have originated in China, and it is not racist simply to mention the fact, or to say that travel to and from foreign countries is one way that diseases are transmitted across borders.

You ought to be doing stand-up because you make me laugh. Even if it were true it would have nothing to do with anything. But you obviously have no knowledge at all about the regulations involved when it comes to having a legal marijuana grow operation in Washington State. You probably have no idea how food is actually produced here by farmers and ranchers either.

Because I grew up on acreage, chasing cows, bailing hay, picking fruit, fixing tractors, and all the stuff you do when you live outside of town... I have a slight advantage over you. Some of my relatives and friends still own acreage and work the land.

And yes, because this is Washington I have known many people, even a couple of close friends who have grown marijuana both legally and illegally. I stumbled into my first marijuana garden when I was about 10. Most of my acquaintances who grew marijuana had an interest in gardening, but none would have been described as farmers before they got into growing pot.

The people who are growing marijuana are typically not the same people who grow other types of crops and/or raise livestock. But keep drinking the koolaid if your fantasy helps makes you feel better about your daily dependence on your mind altering drug of choice.
