ATLANTA - Gov. Brian Kemp, during a late-night press conference, announced two people in Georgia have tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. Both patients live together and one recently returned from Italy.
Georgia Department of Public Health Commissioner Dr. Kathleen Toomey said the patients lived in Fulton County, according to officials, and contacted their doctor once one of them returned and felt sick. Because of their travel history, they had contacted their doctor and arranged to meet the doctor without putting the general public at risk. Dr. Toomey said because of the precautions the two patients took, the risk of it spreading among the community is low.

I am glad to see they are acting responsibly.
Now what is that Apple founder doing since he thinks he was Patient 0. Probably still walking around the masses.
So What
It’s a cold.
Atlanta is a major airline hub. Could have come from anywhere.
Nah. It’s an IQ test.
Yep. 1 county over from mine.
Interesting that I flew to Comumbus, OH 2 weeks ago. Got sick and still feeling less than 75%. Thankfully no fever but being sick sucks. I think the worst I have is a stress headache from all this. Hoping it doesn’t hurt my small business.
OK, it’s next door now. I take back what I said earlier: I’m still going to stock back up on toilet paper and bar soap, but the yard sale for the last stockpiling of Vienna sausages is OFF!
I mean, additional cases from other countries bedsides Italy.
about 100 miles from me....
I was at ATL to pick up a friend Friday, Feb 14...
I wonder when they got back ???
Wow - didn't know the cold had a 3% mortality rate (36% if you are in King Country, WA). Good to know. Thanks!
my friend was coming from her Mid-west American city home and not back from another county...
Anytime, MARY.
Its not a 3% mortality. 0.46% from the largest non China cohort ( South Korea). Please....get a grip
Italy. They’d just returned from Italy.
You can always have a summer yard sale if it blows over by then
It’s not .46% in Italy. It’s 2.6. It’s not .46 in Iran. It’s not even .46% here - right now it is 6. Math a problem for you? Guess so.
Ah - you keyboard warriors are cute! No problem princess.
Enjoy the fetal position, MARY.
By then, I’ll be packing them in a cooler with ice and taking them as snacks when I’m fishing at the county lake. Much better with mustard and crackers than a pocket full of Slim Jims.
Weird. Why do you think so many on here are named Mary? Do you have some kind of obsession with a Mary in your past?
