My Dad didn’t really talk about work when I was a kid, did all the firms have to do that, or larger ones?
Actually, when I left that firm in ‘94 I went to work at a software startup in CT. That company had a consultant come in to give us “the talk”. I remember it not going over well at all. The prevailing attitude seemed to be “who the hell is this b!tch to tell grown men and women how to interact with each other?”.
