Don’t like either on worth a d@mn, but I guess I’ll be voting for Tubby twice this year. Didn’t figure on my Arnold Mooney vote would get very far . . . but I have principles. The main active principle is voting AGAINST Comrade Doug Jones!!!!!!!!!!

Tuberville will win handily as he has Trumps’ support. The deep state has something on Sessions which prompted his immediate recusal in the Russia investigation. Go Tubby!!!

Please name three things of significance he did in the last 20 years as Senator. Because I can’t think of any.

As I said to the other guy - please name three things of significance that he did as Senator. I can’t think of any.

It’s too bad about Sessions. I was always a big fan. Shelby not so much. Sessions should have resigned at the latest once it became clear Mueller was a Democrat witch hunt. But that didn’t happen and the GOP Senate fully supported Mueller’s police state thuggery. And the rest is history.

Point taken. It does get frustrating especially given the fact that part of the reason Doug Jones is in is because people didn’t take the midterm elections seriously. However, Roy Moore surely didn’t help himself. He was on the ticket this time around so I’m glad he wasn’t supported much at all.

He was, I believe, the first U.S. Senator to endorse Donald J. Trump and compiled an otherwise respectable and conservative voting record, especially with regard to getting conservative judicial picks confirmed. In fact, one of the reasons he ran for the U.S. Senate seat in the first place is because he got "Borked" by the left when he was nominated to an appeals court.

All of which makes his behavior as Trump's AG all the more perplexing.

“Retards or Cucks, every single one of them.”

I did not vote for Sessions yesterday, but please tell this retarded cuck why he should vote for someone who he knows nothing about (Tuberville), who may or may not actually live in the state he wishes to represent, or someone who has a record as consistently representing the people who elected him?

I’ll add you to the list; let’s see, Alabamians have IQs of 20, we marry our sisters, and now we’re retarded cucks. But somehow we were smart enough to vote 60% for President Trump. Something just doesn’t add up.

Endorsement isn’t significant to his duties as a Senator. Neither is voting in lockstep with his own party. What conservative legislation did he put forth?

“This is a thread about Sessions, so I’ll say whatever I damned want about him and his dopey retarded cuck supporters.”

I’m sure you will, from the safety of sitting in front of your computer. When was the last time you called someone a cuck and a retard straight to their face? And I’m not talking about the possibility of getting your ass whipped; I mean from the standpoint of common courtesy and civil discussion. Is that really how you talk to people on a normal basis?

I am not the person you are replying to, nor did I call you names, but I will give you a good reason that voting for Sessions this time would make someone an idiot: Perhaps the Sessions of 20 years ago was a good representative, but the Sessions since 2017 has demonstrably been nothing but a turncoat backstabber, completely disconnected from the concerns of his countrymen and only interested in furthering his personal and his government’s power over the people.

Why would anyone with two brain cells to rub together want to put this guy back in *any* position of power?

Tuberville has been a backstabbing weasel all his professional career. Don’t assume Trump will be immune going forward.

I’m not debating voting or not voting for Sessions (yes, I know that’s the topic). There are a lot of people who have legitimate concerns about Sessions. I accept that. What I don’t accept is being called a retarded cuck because I also have doubts about his opponent about whom I know absolutely nothing except that he was the football coach at Auburn. And there you go calling me an idiot. The level of intelligent debate is taking a nosedive. I would ask you the same question; would you really call me an idiot if we were face to face?

This may be so, but as a politician his record is not established. On the other hand, the Sessions of today *does* have a backstabbing, power-grabbing traitorous history in the last few years. He also would have added gravitas for his sudden but inevitable betrayal(s) in the Senate.

In this case, it’s probably better the unknown than the proven scorpion on your back whilst crossing the river. We know the Sessions of today is a scorpion.

No, read my post again - you said that you did not vote for Sessions. I said that only an idiot would vote for the Sessions we have today. Since you did not vote for Sessions, how could you be considered an idiot in this respect?

I mean, if you want to call yourself an idiot that’s your own business.

And yes, were we face to face, I would tell you the same thing. Just like I told my friend he was an idiot for buying a used Mitsubishi as it would blow up in short order. It did and he later admitted he was. :P

Well to be truthful, there is a good part of the population in our precinct so that was part of why it was jammed at lunch here.

“I mean, if you want to call yourself an idiot that’s your own business.”

I knew you would say that. You sound like a 10 year old. I didn’t call you that, you called yourself that! Telling a friend in a joking manner they’re an idiot, and calling a stranger an idiot in a conversation are two completely different situations.

I’ve got an idea; let’s change the subject. How about, instead of name calling, you guys give me a reason to vote for Tuberville that is not that he’s not Sessions? I’ll wait.
