This treatment has been used in conjunction with Azithromycin (Z Pack,or IV) in South Korea, France and Germany.

Preliminary results indicate it has good efficacy. Of course our FDA will take months and months to approve it, just like they will do Remdesivir.

Under most Presidents, possibly. Under Trump, I think they’ll find they’re capable of making decisions much faster than normal.

no approval is necessary by anyone ... any drug that has already been approved by the FDA can legally and ethically be utilized for any other medical condition WITHOUT FDA approval ... in fact, most prescriptions for antibiotics and antivirals are prescribed off-label because the original FDA approval was usually only for the single bug being tested in the original drug approval test trials ...
