A Dallas salon owner will spend a week in jail after she was found in contempt of court Tuesday for violating a court order to close her salon during the coronavirus pandemic. In addition to the jail time, Shelley Luther was fined at least $3,500 for continuing to operate her business, Salon à la Mode, in violation of a temporary restraining order issued against the business.

Especially when you consider all the felons set free due to the danger being imprisoned during the commievirus pandemic emergencydanger supposedly imposes.

But then, shouldn’t she be let out of jail, since they are releasing convicts from jail and prison to stem the spread of the virus in jails and prisons????

In Oregon they’re threatening a salong owner with $70K fine

Judge awful. No bail she has to serve her time. Appeal cant happen before she has to serve her jail time. I want to carry sign and protest for the first time in my life.

shouldn’t the mayor of chicago be arrested for forcing a salon to open to do her hair?

No, that was different, because Chicago mayor has to look good on TV, per her own statements on the matter.
So apparently the rule is, if you are a public official who is going to be on TV, you can get your hair done.
To: jurroppi1
Excellent point. Felons get out and endanger everyone and an innocent woman goes into a filthy jail with virus contagion suspected by the authorities or they wouldn’t have let the others out. Nuts?
