First case in Boise, ID was from a woman that came back from a conference in New York City. We are sandwiched between Boise’s (Ada) and Sun Valley’s (Blaine) counties (worst hit in ID), and have been lucky to only have 30 cases with 2 deaths.
I live about 60 road miles from Spokompton, WA. Lots of cases there and in Coeur d’Alene. Only 4 in my county (Bonner) with no deaths. Contact tracing showed they all contracted the virus away from here so there has not been any community spread. Lucky! Are you one of those crazy people who works in a flying gas station our of Mountain Home?
Interestingly, among the first cases in Bernalillo County (Albuquerque) in New Mexico was a person who had recently returned from a conference in NYC.
