It's true that HCQ (only when combined with Azithromycin) has been implicated in some heart arrhythmia incidents--- but the incidence has been so small, and the risk so remote, that RA patients are not even generally screened for cardiac issues.
We get a simple quarterly blood and urine test to detect levels, and a yearly ophthalmic exam for retina. Never had a problem.
And the real kicker is the duration of the prescription. Typical COVID-19 patient on Dr. Zelenko's treatment gets HCQ for under a week. Typical RA patient (like myself) is on daily HCQ for decades.
