Stzrok came in on a Sunday (07/31/2016) to do this, so he was the only person there, and filled all the required roles himself (submitter, approver), thereby short-circuiting checks against just this kind of spurious basis being established for an investigation.

Mr. Papadopolous [Redacted] also suggested the Trump team had received some kind of suggestion from Russia that it could assist this process with the anonymous release of information during the campaign that would be damaging to Mrs. Clinton (and President Obama). It was unclear whether he or the Russians were referring to material acquired publicly of through other means. It was also unclear how Mr. Trump’s team reacted to the offer. We note the Trump team’s reaction could, in the end, have little bearing of what Russia decides to do, with or without Mr. Trump’s cooperation.Aren't these "facts" untrue?

Only if you believe they are untrue! See, truth is a relative item with these people. They will have to come up with a new oath: Do you swear or affirm this is possibly the truth, maybe a good part of the truth or maybe not, so help you? The new response to that oath will be: on the advice of counsel I say that the names are correct.

I know that Tom Fitton isn’t an attorney — but can he be Attorney General?
It isn’t required that SCOTUS members have to be judges, or even attorneys. What about AG?
