As I posted to you on the State Board, my TX County is up to 21, with one death a week after Memorial Day.

The numbers I am looking at these days are the case counts.
Look at Florida:
1,305 cases already shown on today’s count
1,419 yesterday
North Carolina:
853 cases yesterday
California and Texas—big states with big numbers, CA had two and a half times the NY cases yesterday.
Georgia—953
Virginia—951
Meanwhile, my state of CT has _finally_ gotten this thing under control, down to 148 cases yesterday.
The south and CA will be the new epicenter of CV Wave 2—they just don’t realize it yet.

Remember that the media has always been a few weeks behind events with this virus.
By the time they start paying attention again, Wave 2 will be roaring...

My husband’s business is due to be shut down/rebuilt in July. He will be home 4 months. We are counting the days.
My son who does contract work at a hospital has been working in a covid ward for 2 months now, and no symptoms. I bet he is one who has had it and was asymptomatic. He does wear tyvek/respirator now, but he’s not careful so I’m sure he’s been exposed.
Just make sure your son is topped up on D3.

You’ve got until about mid Oct for him to get it naturally. Supplements after that.
Yes, well he is one who is outside every chance he gets. He’s either playing frisbee or on the lake fishing. His friends are giving him heck on FB for that, but he swears that he and his friends are safer doing that than being inside. That really could be the reason why he hasn’t gotten sick.

‘solar elevation’ above 50 deg makes D3.
The more above 50 the more D3.
After 20 min you’ve maxed out the ability to make D3 for about a day.
So, 20m on each side. Flip like bacon and try not to double expose (so you don’t burn).
If he’s not too modest to go shirtless or too ‘eaten by skeeters’, that would be ideal for D3. 20 min would do the trick.
Really, all of us are in the sun whenever we can right now. I used to garden early morning, but now I put on a tank top and garden after 10 am on sunny days. As gross as it sounds, I do not fully shower until the next day to give my skin time to absorb/convert.
I cannot take vit d3 supplements. I may be allergic to cholecalciferol, I am allergic to wool and lanolin. But the fish oil messes with me too. So I rely on the sun

We haven’t had a cold or further strep throat infections since we’ve begun using these.
We brush our teeth, rinse, gargle with baking soda, rinse and then place one of those in a cheek pocket just before going to sleep and let it melt over time while we sleep.
Also prevents morning breath!

I do a full scrub with vitamin C powder and brown sugar once a week, but wash the ‘needs washing’ bits once a day.

Yes, without being TMI, I stay hygienic without washing all the good stuff off the sun-exposed areas.
My younger son who was allowed to get his driver’s license without a road test just found out that the governor changed the EO and he has unto, Sept to take the road test. Apparently, he will be in the car with my husband and the tester will not be in the car with them. It will be interesting to see how this works.
