Trump Says Biden ‘Doesn’t Know He’s Alive’

President Donald Trump suggested Sunday that presumptive Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden has lost his mental acuity, saying he “doesn’t know he’s alive.”

“Biden doesn’t know, I mean, he doesn’t know he’s alive,” Trump told Washington, D.C. ABC News affiliate WJLA. “I’m against somebody. Think of it. I’m against somebody that can’t answer simple questions. I’ve never seen anything like it, but here’s what I am against. I’m against a very powerful party, the Democrats, and they can take this glass of water and say that’s your candidate.”

Trump also refused to say if Biden possessed any of the qualities necessary to lead the nation. The president would not even allow that Biden, who has spent most of his adult life in high political office, has much in the way of valuable experience. “Well, I would have said experience, but he doesn’t really have experience because I don’t think he remembers what he did yesterday,” Trump said. “So how is that experience? He’s been there a long time. He was never known as a smart person.”

When asked if Trump could “pick one good thing” to say about his opponent, the president replied, “Ah …” and provided no further details.

The president had difficulty deciding what to select as Biden’s weakest fault. “I can’t tell you,” Trump said. “I mean, I’m really serious. He’s got many. I can talk about weak points all day long.”

Trump also criticized Biden for his foreign policy positions on China and Russia but said regardless of where he stands on the issues, the former vice president is “not mentally sharp enough to be president.” Former vice president Joe Biden speaks to the Chicago Council on Global Affairs on November 1, 2017 in Chicago, Illinois. Biden addressed the consequences of U.S. disengagement from world leadership at the event.

Biden has already said that he will be a one-term president if he is elected and subsequently feels that he loses “energy and mental acuity.”

Juan Williams, Fox News’ co-host of “The Five,” recently said too much attention is paid to Biden’s gaffes and not enough to Trump’s verbal miscues. “I don’t think it was Biden who said ‘oh, yeah, George Washington captured the airports during The Revolutionary War.’ I think that was Donald Trump,” he said.

Biden has accused the president of being slow and indecisive when the coronavirus hit the United States, saying that he “froze like a deer in the headlights,” Fox News noted.

Yesterday there was a thread indicating the Democrat powers that be can disregard the convention and select the nominee.

Biden was

The DNC power consensus will prevail.

Bidens “experience” has been being on the wrong side of pretty much everything for 40+ years

And FReepers were saying that long before Robert Gates finally acknowledged it publicly

The bottom one doesn't even look like her.

Either the photo's been doctored or she has.

Its a fair point however the president is not with out resources and the whole notion of voter fraud and stealing elections is much higher in public consciousnesses then I can ever recall.

The rush to mail in voting shows to me show good success has been made in rolling up other voter fraud networks.

I do think many are aware of the mail in voting end around the left is trying to run. I don't think it will work in regards to affecting presidential outcomes as the states that will successfully enact that and survive the judical challenges so as to the voting mechanism in November will be states that president Trump probably won't win anyhow.

A theme of if you want your vote to count you better do it in person because president Trump has conspired with the post office to replace your democrat votes with republican votes, should be pushed

Similar to Hydrochloriquine, president Trump should come out in support of voting by mail. Say something like "everyone should vote by mail two or three times, Hillary can vote by email"

HOORAY Chief. Laugh-of-the-day! It’s good to laugh. Biden? He’s dirty, he’s inarticulate AND he’s a dog-faced pony soldier.

Ask anyone what they remember most as far as Michelle’s accomplishments in 8 years and I don’t think the answers will be very flattering

One of my pet peeves is “different than”. That’s impossible. One can be bigger than, fatter than, slower than or smarter than; but they can’t be DIFFERENT than! If one is different, they are different FROM; like apples are different from oranges. Ai-yai-yai donner vedder!

How 'bout the confusion between "then" and "than"? Simple to remember:

then -- usually implies a time sequence: I'll go to the Post Office then to the gas station.

than -- a relational comparison: I like ice cream better than kale.

Still, people mess this up all the time.

I’m against somebody. Think of it. I’m against somebody that can’t answer simple questions.

Trump is referring to an inamimate object so in this case "that" is correct.
