Some guy on Limbaugh today said something about the guy actually dying from a heroin overdose.   (That knee on the carotid artery wouldn't have been very helpful though, even if something like that drug angle was involved with that situation.)

In the video where you can hear people yelling at the police, the store clerk mention the word/letter OD. Also the Asian police officer stated something about drugs.
