Fact....A criminal died in the heat of being arrested for a crime he committed......won’t be the first time nor the last.
If the state executed someone convicted of raping and murdering a toddler, this method of death would be cruel and unusual punishment.
The dead guy passed a counterfeit $20 bill or bad check or whatever.
There was no need to drag him out of his car.
They could've put chocks on the wheels and waited him out.
They could've arrested him at home a few days later. Having his car means you know his home address.
There was no need to escalate to the point of killing him.
It's not like he was going Aloha Snackbar in a gay nightclub with semiautomatic weapons, or ripped the tag off his mattress, or wore a MAGA hat in public, or anything.
And it wasn't in the heat. Nine continuous minutes of a knee on the neck to beyond the point he craps himself (apparently the point of death) is vast overkill.
