Thank you for your comment. I read the so-called clarification from the DAs‘s office. This did not sound like a retraction. This district attorney looks like he’s been around for a long time. I don’t think he made a mistake when he referred to other evidence that does not support a criminal charge. I think his statement was deliberate and designed to lower expectations as to any possible charging decision. My gut is that the “other evidence that does not support the charge” he is referring to is the autopsy. But, I will admit , I could very well be wrong. We shall see.
